Different options copying pipes

Can we have an explanation of the difference between displacement, parallel and how the knuckle version works.

(1) Displacement

In this option the whole line moves with the alignment of the main. In the example below you can see if you draw a line through each node then everything is related back to the alignment of the main. I have drawn in some lines in purple. You will notice that the lines through the nodes are parallel to the main.

(2) Parallel

In this option the next line is drawn so that the nodes are fixed relative to the node in the lateral being copied. So the same example with the parallel option leads to this:

(3) with Knuckles. This is based on the parallel option but the user can draw in guide lines through each node. To do this bring up the dialog:

And click on the "Draw Guides". The dialog disappears and you can click in a guide line. Draw the guide line so that it passes close to a node in the original line. The subsequent copied lines use this guide as guide to where to place the new nodes.

You can click on the "draw guides" 2nd and more times if you want multiple guide lines.

In the example below we have drawn a guide line through the first node along the line.

Again I have highlighted the nodes in purple to show the affect.

and you can see that we are forcing the 1st line of nodes in a new direction.
