Can you explain how the extend and the extend perpendicular differ when extending pipes.

 

Under the Pipe menu we have a Trim option. You are prompted to draw in an extend / trim line. However you have two options on how you can extend the line.

 

Option 1 simply extends the line until it hits the trim line. As below:

 

 

 

Option 2 extends the line out but makes sure the pipes are perpendicular to the trim line.

 

 

 

 

 

Option2 gives you lots of power when drawing in multi lines at once!
