Clicking on this option starts the procedure to enter a new lot check.
If you are clicking in data from a dwg then the procedure is:
zoom and pan section of the screen that holds the lot
we first click in the ID name. You will see the prompt at lower left of the screen
The lot ID is added to the header and cursor is at line one waiting for entry
we need to decide whether we want to enter the data in clockwise or anti-clockwise order. It doesn't matter ; the data simply needs to be added in order.
left click on the screen over the bearing value
check it has been entered correctly. If not left click back into the bearing field and repeat
left click on the screen over the distance value
repeat for each pair of bearings and distances until we have finished the entry

The entry has been finished and you want to calculate the misclose bearing , distance and lot area.
Hot Keys and tips:
left click in arc button. Entry is treated as an arc and will prompt for bearing and 3 respective distances
"a" key - also sets arc button and treats entry as an arc
"r" key - left click on top of a bearing in the table. Hit "r" key and the bearing is reversed.
"c" key - calculates the misclose and area
"tab" key - goes to the next entry cell. Only goes to "Arc D" column if entering an arc.
"enter" key - same as tab key
"Insert" - left click into the left most number column. Hitting insert will add a spare line in case we have missed an entry couple
"Delete" - left click into left most column first. Delete removes the current line.
